Infrastructure is defined as entities designed to support human activities, like roads, bridges, railways, airports etc.
According to the American Society of Civil Engineers, in 2001 when they gave America’s infrastructure system a report card grade of a D+, they stated they would need $1.3 Trillion over 5 years to remedy the situation.
The current investment total needed by 2020 to remedy our infrastructure is $3.6 Trillion.
With this infrastructure problem becoming more apparent, government agencies have been established that are working to secure funding, which can then be used to pay the engineering and construction communities.
Developing nations will require strong infrastructure systems to grow.
